No-Follow Backlinks
No-Follow backlinks tell the google bots to don’t follow this link. But users can go to the website.

Definitely, the Do-Follow type of backlinks is effective for SEO which signals to follow our site. But No-Follow backlinks also may help you indirectly.
Which backlinks to build?
You have to build both types of backlinks for your site however do-follow tells bots to follow your link and no-follow doesn’t.
Because the backlinks are not only the SEO factors to rank in search engine.
Let’s have an example, you and I have two sites.
we both got a backlink from the same website but I have a no-follow backlink from that site and you have do-follow.
Now my website is familiar with google Bots but when user comes to my site but don’t spend any time to read articles.
On another hand you have the no-follow backlink but when the user came to your site spent 5 to 10 minutes for every session.
Let me tell you which site will be rank mine or yours. Yes… Google will rank both sites for testing purposes and examine the other factors like page load speed and session duration etc. When which site will perform better, ranks that.
So my recommendation is that build both links from high authority sites in your niche.
